Deleting your Torrent Stream data
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Torrent Stream has no account, and no server of ours holds your library. Most of your data is on your phone, so you can delete it yourself. For the little that Google keeps for us, this page says how to ask.
There is no account to delete
Torrent Stream never asked you to register. We hold no user record, no profile and no copy of your torrents or files, so nothing on our side is tied to you as a person. The steps below cover the data on your phone and the analytics, crash and advertising data that Google’s services keep.
1. What data exists, and where
| Data | Where it lives | Held by us? |
|---|---|---|
| Torrents, their state and resume data | App storage on your phone | No |
| Downloaded files | Download/Torrent Stream on your phone, or app storage if you chose it | No |
| Settings, favourites, prompt counters | App storage on your phone | No |
| Usage events and crash reports | Google Firebase, under a random app instance ID | Yes |
| Advertising ID (free plan) | Android on your phone; used by Google AdMob | No |
| Subscription history | Your Google account, in Google Play | No |
| E-mail you sent us | Our mailbox | Yes |
2. Delete a torrent in the app
Open the torrent and choose Delete. Tick Also delete the downloaded files to remove its files too; otherwise they stay where they were saved.
3. Delete everything at once
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes everything the app stored: torrents and their state, settings, favourites, prompt counters, your ad consent choice and any files in app storage.
- Clear the data, keep the app: Settings → Apps → Torrent Stream → Storage → Clear storage (the names vary slightly between phones).
- Uninstall: press and hold the app icon → Uninstall.
Files saved in Download/Torrent Stream are not removed this way; see section 4.
4. Files in Download/Torrent Stream
Files saved in Download/Torrent Stream are ordinary files on your phone. Delete them in the app (section 2, with Also delete the downloaded files) or in a file manager, in the Download/Torrent Stream folder.
5. Analytics and crash reports
Usage events and crash reports are kept by Google Firebase for us, under a random app instance ID, not under your name or e-mail address. They never contain torrent or file names, links, info hashes or file paths.
- Clearing the app’s data or reinstalling it replaces the app instance ID, so new data is no longer linked to the old.
- Google Analytics keeps event data for a limited time, at most 14 months. Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.
- To ask about this data or have it deleted sooner, write to inceptionapplication@gmail.com. Because the ID is random and not linked to you, details such as your phone model and when you used the app help us find it.
6. Advertising ID
On the free plan, Google AdMob uses your device’s advertising ID. It belongs to Android, not to the app. Reset or delete it in Android settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some phones Settings → Google → Ads).
7. Subscription history
Premium purchases stay with your Google account in Google Play. The app only learns whether a subscription is active, and we keep no purchase records on a server of our own. See or manage your purchases under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
8. Deleting an e-mail you sent us
If you wrote to us, we hold that correspondence. Ask us to delete it and we will, using the contact page. We aim to answer within 30 days.
